How does Shell Oil achieve illuminated rounded corners on its Red Bar raised gas station canopies? With custom T-8 fluorescent lamps manufactured by LCD Lighting, Inc. (LCDL) of Orange, Connecticut. LCDL specially bends each lamp to match the 8 inch corner radius. The smooth flowing Red Bar illuminates the entire yellow canopy fascia, greatly increasing visibility and enhancing customer appeal. LCDL's custom T-8 fluorescent lamps were chosen for their long life, high illumination and great economy. The new and retrofit illuminated Red Bar is being installed by Signstrut, Ltd. of Delaware, Ohio.
