After 20,000 hours of use, LCDL's Ultra-Bright™ lamp (top-left) made with our new "WOW" process technology performs and looks significantly better than a standard technology lamp (lower right) with equal hours. LCDL's Ultra-Bright™ lamp shows no evidence of phosphor degradation or glass discoloration when compared to the standard lamp.

Which type of lamps benefit - Any hot or cold cathode, bent fluorescent lamp from 8mm to 25mm diameter. LCDL's proprietary manufacturing process eliminates any performance loss at the bends. Overall, LCDL's Ultra-Bright™ lamps now deliver more total lumen output for a given wattage input. Get improved display brightness, uniformity and readability. Brighter diffusion can work to substantially reduce device power requirements.

What phosphor batch stability means - LCDL's preferred phosphor sources and rigorous batch quality testing assures you of repeatable peak performance. Our special blue phosphor, a major improvement over the kind typically used in the industry, and our other superior quality phosphors combine to increase luminance by up to 33%. Precision application of a measured, even layer of phosphor is the key to Ultra-Bright's™ outstanding luminance uniformity and extraordinarily low lumen depreciation.

How the protective layer contributes - LCDL's advanced overcoating material and proprietary lamp processing techniques deliver significantly better protection against Hg ion bombardment of the phosphor layer and solarization of the glass.
